Key information

Basecamp is the tool the NCETM and Maths Hubs use to manage online communication and collaboration within the Maths Hubs Programme. As of August 2020, Basecamp replaces the use of NCETM Communities on the old NCETM website.

As user of Basecamp, there are a few important details to be aware of as you start to use it.

  1. By signing up to Basecamp, you agree to abide by Basecamp’s policies and terms, which cover familiar territory such as privacy and appropriateness of content.

  2. Basecamp is an open platform: Once you have been invited into the NCETM’s Basecamp area, it is possible for you to then create further Projects of your own or invite people into the Project(s) you are part of. However, due capacity limitations, it is important that you do not create any additional Projects. In addition, unless you are a Work Group Lead inviting people into your own Work Group’s Basecamp Project, do not invite people into any Projects you are part of. If you think you have a legitimate need to do either of these things, please contact info@ncetm.org.uk.

  3. If you are a Work Group Lead, please follow the process here to add people to your Basecamp Projects.
